Installation Process

In the WordPress Dashboard > Go to “Plugins” > “Add Plugin”.
Look for “Custom Post Type Changer”.
Click on the “Install” button, and activate the plugin.
Move to posts/pages/any other post types & click on the quick edit option to select your current post-type from the dropdown.
Change the post types as required & update.
For “Bulk Edit”, select the posts you want to modify & click “edit” from “Bulk Options” dropdown. Then click on “Apply”.

You will find your current post-type auto-selected from the post-type dropdown.

The much-expected WordPress 5.0 has been released after a series of Betas and RCs. The WordPress neighborhood has been restlessly waiting for the new release because of Gutenberg, the new block editor, and some of the new exciting features like Twenty Nineteen theme, etc.

WordPress 5.0 has also introduced the new block-based post editor.

This is the first step in route for an exciting new future with a modernized editing practice across your site.
